1. Purpose of the Marketplace Policies
These Marketplace Policies provide detailed operating rules for the marketplace services offered by MyRentable, LLC.
The Terms of Service establish the general agreement governing use of MyRentable. The Community Standards establish behavioral and safety expectations. These Marketplace Policies explain how specific transaction and platform processes are handled.
The policies apply to Owners, Renters, visitors, authorized representatives, support contacts, and other people participating in marketplace activity.
2. Relationship to Other Agreements
These Marketplace Policies are incorporated into and form part of the MyRentable Terms of Service.
Users must comply with:
- The MyRentable Terms of Service.
- The MyRentable Privacy Policy.
- The MyRentable Community Standards.
- The Marketplace Policies applicable to the activity involved.
- Material Listing terms displayed before a Booking is confirmed.
- Approved Booking modifications and transaction-specific agreements.
- Applicable federal, state, and local law.
A Listing term may add reasonable transaction-specific requirements, but it may not conflict with applicable law, these policies, or rights that cannot legally be waived.

- Payment, refund, payout, and chargeback records.
- Messages exchanged through MyRentable.
- Approved Booking modifications.
- Damage-claim submissions and supporting evidence.
- Identity, account, and verification records.
- Reports, reviews, notifications, and administrative logs.
Users should process material transaction activity through MyRentable whenever a platform workflow is available.
Private conversations or arrangements that are not documented through MyRentable may be difficult or impossible for MyRentable to verify.
5. Owner Policy Responsibilities
Owners are responsible for understanding the policies that apply to their Listings and confirmed Bookings.
- Publish accurate Listing descriptions, prices, deposits, availability, and restrictions.
- Disclose known damage, hazards, defects, recalls, and missing components.
- Provide property that is reasonably safe and suitable for the permitted rental purpose.
- Honor confirmed Bookings unless cancellation is permitted.
- Document the property's condition before and after the Rental Period.
- Submit legitimate claims within required deadlines.
- Provide reasonable evidence supporting claimed damage, loss, or charges.
- Maintain accurate payout, tax, and identity-verification information.
- Avoid undisclosed, unlawful, retaliatory, or excessive charges.
6. Renter Policy Responsibilities
Renters are responsible for understanding the policies that apply to each requested or confirmed Booking.
- Review the complete Listing before requesting or confirming a Booking.
- Confirm rental dates, price, Deposit, pickup, delivery, return, and usage requirements.
- Inspect property at pickup or delivery and promptly report material problems.
- Use property lawfully, safely, and according to disclosed instructions.
- Protect property from theft, misuse, weather, loss, contamination, and avoidable damage.
- Return property on time and with all included components.
- Submit legitimate cancellation, refund, or claim information through MyRentable.
- Pay authorized transaction, damage, loss, late-return, or other amounts.
- Avoid improper chargebacks or payment reversals.
7. Transaction-Specific Terms
A Listing may contain reasonable terms specific to the property or rental.
- Permitted and prohibited uses.
- Required licenses, qualifications, training, or supervision.
- Pickup, delivery, transportation, or return requirements.
- Cleaning, charging, fueling, or storage requirements.
- Included accessories and components.
- Geographic, mileage, operating-hour, weight, capacity, or environmental limits.
- Safety equipment and protective-equipment requirements.
- Reasonable late-return or extraordinary-cleaning terms.
Transaction-specific terms must be disclosed before confirmation. An Owner may not impose a new material requirement after confirmation unless the Renter agrees through an approved Booking modification or another documented MyRentable process.
8. Policy Conflicts and Order of Control
When two provisions appear to conflict, the following order generally applies:
- Applicable law and rights that cannot legally be waived.
- A transaction-specific requirement expressly confirmed through MyRentable.
- The policy specifically governing the issue.
- The MyRentable Terms of Service.
- The Community Standards.
- General Listing language or informal communications.
MyRentable may interpret and apply its policies in a manner intended to preserve safety, fairness, marketplace integrity, and compliance with law.
9. Policy Review and Decision Process
When MyRentable reviews a cancellation, refund, payment, payout, claim, report, or other marketplace matter, it may consider:
- The applicable policy and transaction status.
- The timing of the request or reported event.
- Listing terms and approved modifications.
- Platform messages and transaction records.
- Photographs, videos, documents, receipts, estimates, and invoices.
- Identity, payment, and account-verification information.
- Prior reports, claims, warnings, or marketplace activity.
- Applicable legal, payment-processor, insurer, or service-provider requirements.
- The credibility, consistency, completeness, and relevance of available evidence.
10. Temporary Holds and Protective Actions
MyRentable may take temporary action while reviewing a policy matter.
- Pause or restrict a Listing.
- Delay or pause a Booking.
- Place a hold on a refund, payment, Deposit, or payout.
- Restrict messaging, claims, reviews, or other Account features.
- Require identity, ownership, payment, or transaction verification.
- Preserve records or evidence.
- Temporarily suspend an Account.
A temporary action does not necessarily mean MyRentable has made a final finding against a User.
11. Fraud and Policy Abuse
Users may not misuse a Marketplace Policy to obtain an improper benefit or harm another person.
- Submitting a false cancellation reason.
- Requesting a refund based on fabricated information.
- Submitting false or inflated Damage claims.
- Using altered photographs, receipts, invoices, or estimates.
- Creating false Bookings, reviews, claims, refunds, or payout events.
- Submitting an improper chargeback to avoid a valid obligation.
- Coordinating reports or evidence with another person to deceive MyRentable.
- Using policy procedures to harass, delay, retaliate, or extort.
Suspected fraud or abuse may result in payment restrictions, claim denial, payout reversal, Account suspension, termination, or referral to an appropriate authority.
12. Appeals and Additional Review
An appeal may be available for certain policy decisions.
An appeal should identify the decision being challenged and include new, corrected, or previously unavailable information that may materially affect the outcome.
An appeal does not guarantee a different result. MyRentable may uphold, modify, reverse, or return a matter for additional review.
Repeated requests without new relevant information may be closed without further review.
13. Legal Rights and Nonwaivable Protections
These Marketplace Policies are intended to operate to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these policies eliminates a consumer right, warranty, remedy, reporting right, or legal protection that cannot lawfully be waived.
A policy outcome does not prevent a User from contacting an insurer, law-enforcement agency, regulator, court, attorney, or other appropriate authority.
MyRentable does not provide legal, tax, insurance, repair, appraisal, or accounting advice.
14. Policy Updates
MyRentable may update Marketplace Policies to reflect changes in marketplace functionality, laws, payment processing, insurance products, fraud controls, safety practices, or business operations.
Each policy will display its current version, effective date, and last-updated date.
Material updates may be communicated through the platform, email, Account notifications, or another reasonable notice method.
The policy in effect at the time of the relevant event will generally govern unless applicable law, a later agreement, or the updated policy expressly requires otherwise.
15. Questions and Support
Questions about the Marketplace Policies may be submitted to support@myrentable.com.
A support request should identify the affected Account, Listing, Booking, payment, payout, claim, report, or other activity and describe the requested assistance.
For immediate threats to life or safety, contact emergency services before contacting MyRentable.
