Quick summary
- Owner earnings generally become eligible for payout after the Rental Period is completed and required transaction reviews are finished.
- A successful Renter payment does not mean the Owner payout is immediately available.
- Owners must complete required identity, tax, banking, and payment-provider verification.
- MyRentable may delay, reduce, reverse, offset, or withhold payouts for refunds, disputes, chargebacks, claims, fraud, negative balances, legal requirements, or policy violations.
- Payout processing time depends partly on the payment processor and the Owner's financial institution.
1. Purpose and Scope
This Owner Payout Policy explains how MyRentable, LLC determines, processes, delays, adjusts, reverses, and resolves payouts to Owners.
This Policy applies to Owner earnings arising from Bookings, cancellations, modifications, refunds, Damage Claims, payment disputes, chargebacks, credits, and other marketplace transactions.
This Policy supplements the Terms of Service, Platform Fees and Payment Policy, Cancellation and Refund Policy, Damage Claims Policy, and transaction-specific information displayed through MyRentable.
2. Core Payout Principles
- A confirmed Booking does not create an immediate right to payout.
- A successful Renter payment does not mean funds are fully settled, nonrefundable, or free from dispute.
- Owner earnings are calculated after applicable refunds, adjustments, taxes, reversals, claims, deductions, and offsets.
- Owners must satisfy identity, banking, tax, compliance, and payment-provider requirements.
- MyRentable may delay a payout while a legitimate transaction, fraud, legal, safety, or payment review remains pending.
- Payout timing may depend on third-party payment processors and financial institutions.
- Nothing in this Policy permits withholding or deduction prohibited by applicable law.
3. Definitions
- Available Balance
- Owner funds that have completed required processing and are eligible for payout, subject to continuing adjustment rights.
- Connected Payment Account
- The payment-provider account used to receive Owner payouts and complete required identity, banking, tax, and compliance verification.
- Gross Owner Amount
- The portion of the Rental Subtotal initially attributable to the Owner before applicable refunds, reversals, adjustments, deductions, offsets, and withholding.
- Negative Balance
- An amount owed by an Owner when refunds, disputes, chargebacks, claims, reversals, fees, or adjustments exceed available Owner funds.
- Owner Earnings
- The amount eligible to be paid to an Owner after applicable adjustments, refunds, taxes, deductions, offsets, and other authorized amounts.
- Payout
- A transfer of eligible Owner funds through MyRentable's payment processor to the Owner's supported financial account.
- Payout Hold
- A temporary delay or restriction preventing some or all Owner funds from being paid while a review or unresolved obligation remains pending.
- Reserve
- An amount temporarily retained from current or future Owner funds to address reasonably anticipated refunds, disputes, claims, chargebacks, fraud, or other payment risk.
4. Owner Earnings
Owner earnings generally begin with the Rental Subtotal associated with a confirmed Booking.
The MyRentable renter-facing Service Fee is not Owner earnings.
Owner earnings may be adjusted by:
- Approved Booking modifications.
- Cancellations and refunds.
- Taxes collected or withheld.
- Payment reversals and chargebacks.
- Approved Damage Claims or other amounts owed by the Owner.
- Negative balances.
- Optional services or charges expressly selected by the Owner.
- Other deductions clearly disclosed and authorized under applicable policies.
5. Payout Eligibility
Owner funds generally become eligible for payout only after all applicable requirements are satisfied.
- The Booking is confirmed and valid.
- The required Renter payment has been successfully collected.
- The Rental Period has ended or the applicable payout event has occurred.
- The Booking has not been cancelled, refunded, disputed, or placed under review in a manner affecting payout.
- The Owner has completed required identity, banking, tax, and payment-provider verification.
- The Connected Payment Account is active and able to receive funds.
- The Owner does not have an unresolved Negative Balance or other amount subject to offset.
- No legal, compliance, fraud, safety, claim, or payment restriction prevents payout.
6. Standard Payout Release
Unless another payout schedule is displayed for the Booking, MyRentable generally begins the payout-release process after the recorded end of the Rental Period.
The release target is not a guarantee that funds will arrive in the Owner's bank account within two business days.
After release, the payment processor and receiving financial institution determine final transfer timing.
7. Business Days and Processing Time
Business days generally exclude Saturdays, Sundays, federal banking holidays, and days on which relevant financial institutions are closed.
Payout processing may take longer because of:
- Banking holidays or weekends.
- Payment-provider processing schedules.
- New Connected Payment Accounts.
- Verification or compliance review.
- Bank-account changes.
- Failed or returned payouts.
- Currency or geographic restrictions.
- Fraud, refund, claim, dispute, or chargeback review.
- Financial-institution holds or account restrictions.
8. Payment Settlement
A Renter payment may appear successful before it is fully settled or before all dispute periods have expired.
MyRentable may wait for payment settlement or additional confirmation before releasing Owner funds when reasonably necessary.
A later payment reversal, dispute, refund, or chargeback may affect Owner earnings even after a payout was released.
9. Connected Payment Account
Owners must establish and maintain a supported Connected Payment Account before receiving payouts.
The payment provider may require:
- Legal name and date of birth.
- Residential or business address.
- Telephone number and email address.
- Government-issued identification.
- Social Security number, taxpayer identification number, or business tax information.
- Business ownership and control information.
- Bank-account or debit-card information.
- Additional documentation concerning identity, activity, ownership, or source of funds.
MyRentable may be unable to release payouts until all required information is provided and approved.
10. Accurate Payout Information
Owners must provide accurate, current, and complete payout, identity, banking, and tax information.
- Use only a financial account the Owner is authorized to use.
- Keep legal name, address, business, and tax information current.
- Update expired or replaced identification documents when requested.
- Review bank-account and routing information carefully.
- Report suspected unauthorized changes promptly.
- Do not use false identities, nominees, shell Accounts, or another person's banking information to avoid verification.
The Owner is responsible for losses caused by inaccurate information submitted by the Owner, except to the extent applicable law requires otherwise.
11. Changes to Payout Information
Changing a bank account, legal name, business entity, tax classification, ownership structure, or other material payout information may trigger additional verification or a temporary Payout Hold.
MyRentable or its payment provider may delay payouts after a sensitive Account change to reduce Account-takeover and payment-diversion risk.
Owners should review payout changes carefully and report any unauthorized change immediately.
12. Minimum Payout and Balance Thresholds
MyRentable or its payment provider may establish a minimum payout amount when necessary for payment processing.
An amount below the applicable threshold may remain in the Owner's Available Balance until additional earnings are received or another supported payout process applies.
Any applicable minimum or threshold will be displayed through the payout system or Connected Payment Account.
13. Payout Method
Owner payouts are generally sent to the supported bank account or payout destination associated with the Connected Payment Account.
Available payout methods may vary by payment provider, location, Account type, and eligibility.
MyRentable does not guarantee availability of every payout method for every Owner.
14. Standard and Expedited Payouts
MyRentable may support standard or expedited payout options through its payment provider.
An expedited payout may be subject to:
- Additional payment-provider fees.
- Eligibility requirements.
- Supported debit-card or bank-account requirements.
- Transaction and daily limits.
- Fraud and compliance review.
- Temporary unavailability.
MyRentable will disclose any Owner-paid expedited payout fee before the Owner confirms the payout.
15. Owner Cancellations
An Owner who cancels a confirmed Booking generally is not entitled to Owner earnings from that Booking.
MyRentable may also offset reasonable refunds, payment reversals, or other costs caused by the Owner cancellation when authorized by the Terms and applicable policies.
The treatment of extraordinary or unavoidable Owner cancellations is governed by the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
16. Renter Cancellations
An Owner may be eligible for some or all of the nonrefunded Rental Subtotal when a Renter voluntarily cancels under the applicable cancellation schedule.
Owner eligibility depends on:
- The cancellation terms recorded with the Booking.
- The time of cancellation.
- The reason for cancellation.
- Whether an exception or refund applies.
- Whether the Owner caused or contributed to the cancellation.
- Whether a payment dispute, fraud review, or legal restriction remains pending.
The MyRentable Service Fee is not included in Owner earnings.
17. No-Shows
An Owner may be eligible for Owner earnings when a Renter is properly classified as a No-Show under the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
MyRentable may require evidence that the Owner appeared, provided access, communicated through MyRentable, and was prepared to complete the Booking.
An Owner No-Show generally results in no Owner earnings and may result in refund or enforcement consequences.
18. Booking Modifications
An approved Booking modification may increase or decrease Owner earnings.
A modification is effective for payout purposes only after:
- Required parties approve the modification.
- Any additional Renter payment is successfully authorized or collected.
- Any refund or adjustment is recorded.
- The modified Rental Period and price are confirmed by MyRentable.
Informal off-platform changes may not be recognized for payout purposes.
19. Refunds
An approved refund may reduce, cancel, reverse, or offset Owner earnings.
MyRentable may deduct an approved refund from:
- Pending Owner funds.
- The Owner's Available Balance.
- A future Owner payout.
- A Reserve.
- Another amount payable to the Owner.
- An authorized payment method where supported and permitted.
A payout already received does not prevent recovery of an Owner-funded refund.
20. Damage Claims and Owner Payouts
An Owner's rental payout and Damage Claim payment are separate financial events.
A pending Damage Claim may result in a Payout Hold when the claim could materially affect transaction responsibility, refunds, fraud risk, or other financial obligations.
Approval of a Damage Claim does not guarantee immediate Owner payment.
Damage Claim payment may depend on:
- Successful collection from the responsible User.
- Deposit availability.
- Insurance or protection-provider approval.
- Payment-provider processing.
- Applicable deductibles, limits, exclusions, and offsets.
- Fraud, legal, compliance, or chargeback review.
21. Payout Holds
MyRentable may temporarily hold some or all Owner funds when reasonably necessary to review or address:
- A cancellation, refund, modification, or Booking dispute.
- A Damage Claim or safety report.
- A chargeback, payment reversal, or failed payment.
- Suspected fraud, identity misuse, Account takeover, or payment abuse.
- Prohibited property or unlawful activity.
- Incomplete identity, tax, banking, or business verification.
- A Negative Balance.
- A legal request, court order, regulatory requirement, or sanctions concern.
- A material system or payment-processing error.
- Repeated cancellations, claims, disputes, or policy violations.
A Payout Hold is not necessarily a final determination that the Owner violated a policy.
22. Duration of a Payout Hold
MyRentable will maintain a Payout Hold only for as long as reasonably necessary to complete the applicable review, satisfy legal requirements, resolve payment risk, or protect the marketplace.
The duration may depend on:
- Owner response time.
- Availability of evidence.
- Payment-provider review.
- Financial-institution or card-network procedures.
- Insurance or protection-provider review.
- Law-enforcement, court, or regulatory process.
- Chargeback and dispute timelines.
- The complexity and seriousness of the matter.
23. Reserves
MyRentable or its payment provider may establish a Reserve when reasonably necessary to address anticipated payment or marketplace risk.
A Reserve may be based on factors such as:
- High transaction volume or rapid growth.
- High-value or long-duration rentals.
- Elevated cancellation, refund, claim, or dispute rates.
- Repeated chargebacks or payment reversals.
- New or recently reactivated Owner Accounts.
- Restricted or higher-risk property categories.
- Past Negative Balances.
- Fraud, identity, legal, or compliance concerns.
MyRentable may release Reserve funds when the relevant risk has reasonably decreased or the applicable review period has ended.
24. Negative Balances
An Owner may develop a Negative Balance when financial obligations exceed pending or available Owner funds.
A Negative Balance may arise from:
- Refunds.
- Chargebacks and payment disputes.
- Payment reversals.
- Approved claims owed by the Owner.
- Duplicate or incorrect payouts.
- Tax or compliance adjustments.
- Fraud or policy-related recovery.
- Other authorized transaction corrections.
MyRentable may restrict payouts, Listings, Bookings, or other Account features until the Negative Balance is resolved.
25. Offsets and Recovery
Subject to applicable law and authorization, MyRentable may recover an amount owed by offsetting it against:
- Pending Owner earnings.
- Available Owner funds.
- Future payouts.
- Marketplace credits.
- Damage Claim proceeds.
- Refunds or other amounts payable to the Owner.
- An authorized external payment method where supported.
A failed recovery attempt does not eliminate the underlying obligation.
26. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
A Renter or payment-method holder may dispute a transaction through a card issuer, bank, wallet provider, or other financial institution.
When a dispute affects Owner funds, MyRentable may:
- Place a Payout Hold.
- Reverse or recover a prior payout.
- Deduct the disputed amount from pending or future Owner earnings.
- Request transaction records and evidence from the Owner.
- Submit evidence to the payment provider.
- Restrict the Owner Account while the dispute remains unresolved.
The payment provider or financial institution may make the final chargeback decision under its own rules.
27. Owner Cooperation with Chargebacks
An Owner must cooperate promptly when MyRentable requests information concerning a payment dispute.
- Listing information and photographs.
- Booking and modification records.
- Pickup, delivery, return, and condition evidence.
- Messages exchanged through MyRentable.
- Proof that the property was provided.
- No-Show or cancellation evidence.
- Damage Claim or refund information.
- Other relevant transaction records.
Failure to provide timely evidence may reduce MyRentable's ability to challenge the dispute and may affect Owner responsibility.
28. Payout Reversals
MyRentable or its payment provider may reverse or recover a payout when:
- The underlying payment is refunded, reversed, or disputed.
- The payout was duplicated or issued in error.
- The Booking was fraudulent, prohibited, cancelled, or invalid.
- The Owner was not entitled to the amount.
- The Owner owes an approved refund, claim, or adjustment.
- Required by law, legal process, sanctions rules, or payment-provider requirements.
A payout reversal may create a Negative Balance if sufficient Owner funds are unavailable.
29. Failed or Returned Payouts
A payout may fail or be returned because of incorrect banking information, a closed account, account restrictions, name mismatch, payment-provider review, financial-institution rejection, or technical issues.
When a payout fails, MyRentable may:
- Return the amount to the Owner's pending or available balance.
- Request corrected payout information.
- Require additional verification.
- Retry the payout where supported.
- Maintain a temporary Payout Hold.
The Owner is responsible for keeping payout information accurate.
30. Unclaimed and Undeliverable Funds
Owner funds may remain unpaid when an Owner fails to complete verification, provide valid payout information, respond to requests, or maintain an active Account.
MyRentable may retain such funds pending completion of required steps, subject to applicable unclaimed-property and escheat laws.
When required by law, unclaimed funds may be reported or transferred to the appropriate government authority.
31. Tax Information
Owners are responsible for providing accurate tax information and complying with their tax obligations.
MyRentable or its payment provider may request:
- Taxpayer name.
- Social Security number or employer identification number.
- Business classification.
- Tax forms and certifications.
- Address and residency information.
- Other information required for tax reporting or withholding.
Payouts may be delayed, restricted, or subject to withholding when required tax information is missing, inaccurate, inconsistent, or legally insufficient.
32. Tax Reporting and Withholding
MyRentable or its payment provider may report payment information to tax authorities and provide tax forms when required by law.
The amount reported on a tax form may differ from the amount deposited into the Owner's bank account because tax reporting rules may use gross transaction amounts or other legally defined calculations.
MyRentable may withhold taxes or other legally required amounts from Owner funds.
Owners should consult their own qualified tax professional regarding income, deductions, depreciation, expenses, sales tax, and reporting obligations.
33. Legal and Compliance Restrictions
MyRentable may delay, restrict, reject, block, reverse, or report a payout when required to comply with:
- Applicable laws and regulations.
- Court orders, subpoenas, garnishments, levies, or legal process.
- Sanctions and restricted-party requirements.
- Anti-money-laundering and fraud-prevention obligations.
- Tax withholding or reporting requirements.
- Payment-network and financial-institution rules.
- Valid government or regulatory requests.
MyRentable may be prohibited from disclosing certain legal, fraud, sanctions, or compliance details.
34. Fraud and Payout Abuse
Owners may not misuse MyRentable payout systems.
- Creating false Bookings to generate payouts.
- Using stolen or unauthorized payment methods.
- Coordinating transactions between controlled Accounts.
- Providing false identity, banking, business, ownership, or tax information.
- Attempting to redirect another Owner's payout.
- Manipulating refunds, claims, credits, promotions, or chargebacks.
- Using MyRentable to transmit, launder, disguise, or advance money.
- Moving transactions off-platform to avoid fees, records, or payment controls.
Suspected payout fraud may result in holds, reserves, reversals, recovery, Account restrictions, suspension, termination, and referral to payment providers or appropriate authorities.
35. Suspended and Terminated Accounts
Suspension or termination does not automatically eliminate legitimate Owner earnings or amounts owed by the Owner.
MyRentable may hold funds while resolving:
- Active Bookings.
- Returns and property recovery.
- Refunds and cancellations.
- Damage Claims.
- Chargebacks and payment disputes.
- Fraud or safety investigations.
- Negative Balances.
- Legal and compliance requirements.
After applicable matters are resolved, remaining eligible funds may be paid according to this Policy and applicable law.
36. Death, Incapacity, or Business Closure
MyRentable may require legal documentation before releasing funds when an individual Owner dies or becomes legally incapacitated, or when a business Owner dissolves, closes, or changes control.
Required documentation may include court orders, estate documents, business records, proof of authority, tax information, and payment-provider verification.
MyRentable may maintain a Payout Hold until it can reasonably determine the person or entity legally entitled to receive the funds.
37. Payout Records
MyRentable may maintain records concerning:
- Gross Owner amounts.
- Owner earnings.
- Payout status and dates.
- Transfers and payout identifiers.
- Refunds, reversals, disputes, and chargebacks.
- Holds, reserves, offsets, and Negative Balances.
- Tax reporting and withholding.
- Verification and compliance status.
- Administrative review and audit activity.
Owners should review payout records promptly and report suspected errors through MyRentable.
38. Payout Errors
MyRentable may correct duplicate, missing, excessive, insufficient, misdirected, or otherwise incorrect payouts.
Depending on the circumstances, MyRentable may:
- Issue a missing eligible payout.
- Reverse a duplicate or excessive payout.
- Correct the payout amount.
- Return funds to the Owner balance.
- Request repayment.
- Offset the error against future Owner funds.
- Require corrected payout information.
MyRentable will not knowingly use a payout error to impose an unauthorized deduction.
39. Reviewing a Payout
An Owner should review the relevant Booking, payout record, connected payment Account, and bank statement before reporting a missing or incorrect payout.
The Owner should confirm:
- The Booking status.
- The Rental Period end date.
- Any refund, cancellation, modification, claim, or dispute.
- The payout destination.
- The payout status shown by the payment provider.
- Whether the financial institution is still processing the transfer.
- Whether identity, tax, or banking verification is pending.
40. Payout Disputes
An Owner may request review of an eligible payout, hold, reserve, deduction, reversal, or Negative Balance decision.
The request should:
- Identify the affected Booking and payout.
- Identify the amount disputed.
- Explain why the amount or status is believed to be incorrect.
- Include relevant bank records, transaction records, messages, receipts, or other evidence.
- Be submitted within fourteen calendar days after notice of the decision unless another period is stated.
MyRentable may uphold, modify, reverse, release, recollect, or further investigate the amount.
41. Payment Provider and Financial Institution Decisions
A payment processor, bank, card network, or other financial institution may make independent decisions concerning verification, payout eligibility, transfer timing, chargebacks, fraud, and Account access.
MyRentable may provide available information or support a review but may not control the third party's final decision.
A third-party payment decision does not necessarily determine all contractual obligations between the Owner, Renter, and MyRentable.
42. No Guarantee of Continuous Payout Availability
MyRentable does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of every payout feature, method, schedule, or provider.
Payout services may be interrupted by maintenance, banking outages, payment-provider restrictions, legal requirements, technical failures, or other events outside MyRentable's reasonable control.
MyRentable will use reasonable efforts to restore or provide an alternative supported process when appropriate.
43. Legal Rights and Required Procedures
This Policy applies only to the extent permitted by law.
Nothing in this Policy eliminates an Owner's legal right to payment, accounting, notice, dispute, tax documentation, or another protection that cannot lawfully be waived.
When applicable law requires a different payout, withholding, notice, reporting, or dispute procedure, the legally required procedure will apply.
MyRentable does not provide accounting, banking, legal, financial, insurance, or tax advice.
44. Changes to This Policy
MyRentable may update this Policy to reflect changes in payment providers, payout schedules, verification requirements, taxes, laws, marketplace features, fraud controls, or business operations.
The current version, effective date, and last-updated date will appear in the Legal Center.
Material changes affecting future Owner payouts may be communicated through the platform, email, Connected Payment Account, or another reasonable notice method.
A payout term recorded with a completed Booking generally continues to govern that Booking unless applicable law or the updated Policy expressly requires otherwise.
45. Questions and Support
Questions about an Owner payout should be submitted through the applicable payout, Booking, or support workflow. General questions may be sent to support@myrentable.com.
A request should identify the affected Booking, payout, amount, status, date, and requested resolution.
Owners should not send full bank-account numbers, passwords, security codes, or other sensitive financial credentials through email or platform messages.
