This Privacy Policy describes how MyRentable, LLC collects, uses, retains, discloses, and protects personal information associated with the MyRentable website, applications, communications, payment features, marketplace transactions, and related services.
This Policy applies to Owners, Renters, prospective users, visitors, support contacts, and other people whose information is processed through MyRentable.
This Policy does not govern the independent privacy practices of third-party websites, payment processors, identity-verification providers, insurers, financial institutions, or other external services.

The information MyRentable collects depends on how a person accesses or uses the platform.

4. How We Use Information

- Create, maintain, authenticate, and secure Accounts.
- Publish Listings and provide search and discovery features.
- Process Booking requests, confirmations, modifications, cancellations, and completions.
- Process payments, deposits, refunds, fees, payouts, taxes, and chargebacks.
- Enable communication between Owners, Renters, support personnel, and other appropriate parties.
- Verify identity, contact information, ownership, qualifications, licenses, and payment information.
- Review damage claims, disputes, safety reports, refunds, and appeals.
- Prevent fraud, theft, abuse, payment risk, unauthorized access, and prohibited activity.
- Calculate or update trust, verification, account, and marketplace-safety indicators.
- Provide customer service and respond to questions or complaints.
- Send transactional, security, legal, operational, and policy communications.
- Improve marketplace functionality, reliability, usability, accessibility, and performance.
- Conduct testing, analysis, auditing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.
- Comply with legal obligations, court orders, government requests, and regulatory requirements.
- Protect the rights, safety, property, and integrity of MyRentable, users, and the public.
5. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable law requires a stated legal basis, MyRentable may process information based on:
- Performance of a contract or steps requested before entering a contract.

7. Public and Marketplace-Visible Information
Some information is intentionally displayed to other users or the public as part of marketplace participation.
- Profile name, profile photograph, and limited profile information.
- Listings, photographs, descriptions, prices, categories, and general locations.
- Reviews, ratings, and marketplace history indicators.
- Verification, trust, or account-status indicators selected for display.
- Public responses or information voluntarily posted in public-facing areas.
Users should not post sensitive personal information in Listings, reviews, public descriptions, or other areas visible to the public.
9. Payment Processing
MyRentable uses third-party payment processors to handle payments, refunds, deposits, payouts, and related financial activity.
Payment processors may collect information directly from users under their own terms and privacy notices.
MyRentable generally does not store full payment-card numbers or online banking credentials when those details are processed directly by the payment provider.
10. Identity Verification
Identity verification may involve sensitive identification information and biometric-related information, depending on the verification method and provider.
MyRentable will use verification information for identity confirmation, fraud prevention, marketplace safety, legal compliance, account review, and related purposes.
Where a third-party verification provider processes identification documents or facial-comparison information, its separate privacy practices may also apply.

MyRentable may access, preserve, review, or use platform messages and related information when reasonably necessary for support, safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, claims, policy enforcement, or legal compliance.

- Completing Bookings, payments, payouts, refunds, claims, and disputes.

- Preventing fraud, abuse, repeat violations, and unauthorized access.
- Maintaining transaction, acceptance, audit, and security records.
- Resolving complaints and defending legal claims.
- Enforcing the Terms of Service and marketplace policies.
Retention periods may vary based on the type of information, account status, transaction history, legal requirements, unresolved disputes, and operational need.
Information may remain in backups or archived systems for a limited period after deletion from active systems.
13. Information Security
MyRentable uses administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure.
- Authentication and access controls.
- Role-based database protections.

- Secure payment processing through specialized providers.

No website, application, database, transmission method, or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
Users are responsible for securing their passwords, devices, email Accounts, and authentication methods and should report suspected unauthorized access promptly.

- Request deletion of eligible information.

15. Account Deletion
Users may request Account deletion through available Account tools or by contacting support.
Deletion may be delayed or limited when an Account has active Bookings, unresolved claims, unpaid balances, pending payouts, chargebacks, safety investigations, legal holds, or other continuing obligations.
Deletion of an Account does not necessarily require deletion of transaction records, legal records, security records, policy-acceptance records, or information needed to protect the marketplace.
16. Marketing and Notification Choices
Users may receive transactional, security, payment, Booking, claim, policy, and Account communications that are necessary to operate the platform.
Marketing messages, if used, may include unsubscribe or preference-management options as required by law.
Opting out of marketing communications does not prevent MyRentable from sending essential service-related notices.
17. Children's Privacy
MyRentable is intended for adults who are legally capable of entering binding rental agreements.
People under eighteen years old may not create Accounts or complete Bookings.
MyRentable does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children for marketplace participation.
A parent or guardian who believes a child has improperly provided information should contact support@myrentable.com.
18. United States State Privacy Rights
Residents of certain states may have additional privacy rights under applicable state law.
Such rights may include access, correction, deletion, portability, opt-out, appeal, or rights concerning certain sensitive information, targeted advertising, profiling, or sale of personal information.
MyRentable will respond to verified requests as required by the law applicable to the requesting person and the business.
MyRentable will not unlawfully discriminate against a person for exercising an applicable privacy right.
19. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
MyRentable does not sell personal information for money in the ordinary meaning of the term.
If MyRentable later uses technologies that qualify as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under applicable privacy law, appropriate notice and opt-out controls will be provided where required.
20. Do Not Track and Browser Signals
Some browsers provide Do Not Track or other privacy-preference signals.
Because standards and legal requirements continue to evolve, MyRentable will respond to legally recognized browser-based preference signals when required and technically supported.
21. International Access and Data Transfers
MyRentable is currently intended primarily for users and transactions in the United States.
A person accessing the platform from another country understands that information may be transferred to, processed in, and stored in the United States or other locations used by MyRentable's service providers.
Privacy laws in those locations may differ from the laws of the person's home jurisdiction.

The platform may contain links to third-party websites, applications, maps, payment pages, insurance providers, or other external services.
MyRentable does not control the independent privacy practices of those third parties.
