1. Accessibility Commitment
MyRentable, LLC is committed to providing a marketplace that is accessible to people with disabilities and usable with a range of browsers, devices, input methods, and assistive technologies.
MyRentable seeks to provide meaningful and substantially equivalent access to important marketplace information, functions, transactions, and support.
Accessibility is considered part of product design, development, testing, content creation, customer support, and ongoing platform maintenance.
2. Scope of This Statement
This Statement applies to the MyRentable website, supported applications, public pages, Account features, marketplace workflows, legal documents, and customer-support processes controlled by MyRentable.
This Statement does not guarantee the accessibility of independent third-party websites, payment pages, identity-verification services, maps, embedded content, financial institutions, insurers, or other external services.
MyRentable will work with service providers and select integrations with accessibility in mind when reasonably possible.
3. Accessibility Standard
MyRentable uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.2, Level AA, as its current development and evaluation goal.
WCAG is organized around four broad principles: content and functionality should be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.
4. Accessibility Is an Ongoing Process
MyRentable is an evolving marketplace. New features, integrations, content, and workflows may introduce accessibility issues that require additional review and correction.
MyRentable intends to:
- Review accessibility during feature design and development.
- Test important workflows using keyboard-only navigation.
- Use automated accessibility checks as one part of testing.
- Perform manual review of important pages and controls.
- Test with screen readers and other assistive technologies when reasonably possible.
- Address reported barriers according to severity and impact.
- Reevaluate accessibility after material design or technology changes.
5. Accessible Design Practices
MyRentable seeks to use accessible design and development practices, including:
- Semantic page structure and meaningful headings.
- Keyboard-accessible links, buttons, forms, dialogs, and navigation.
- Visible keyboard focus indicators.
- Programmatically associated form labels and instructions.
- Meaningful alternative text for important images.
- Sufficient text and interface contrast.
- Error identification and understandable validation messages.
- Descriptive page titles, link text, and control names.
- Responsive layouts that support zoom and text resizing.
- Reduced reliance on color alone to communicate meaning.
- Appropriate status messages for dynamic changes.
- Logical reading and focus order.
6. Keyboard Access
Important MyRentable functions should be operable without requiring a mouse or touch input.
- Move through interactive controls using standard keyboard navigation.
- Activate links and buttons using appropriate keyboard commands.
- See a visible indication of keyboard focus.
- Navigate dialogs without focus becoming lost or trapped improperly.
- Close supported dialogs using an accessible control.
- Avoid keyboard traps that prevent movement away from a component.
Some operating systems, browsers, and assistive technologies may require their own keyboard-accessibility settings.
7. Screen Readers and Assistive Technologies
MyRentable seeks to support commonly used screen readers and other assistive technologies through semantic HTML, accessible names, labels, landmarks, status messages, and appropriate interface structure.
Compatibility may vary based on:
- Browser and browser version.
- Operating system.
- Screen-reader or assistive-technology version.
- Device settings.
- Third-party integrations.
- User-selected browser extensions.
8. Visual Accessibility
MyRentable seeks to make visual content and controls understandable for Users with low vision, color-vision differences, or other visual disabilities.
- Support browser zoom and text enlargement.
- Maintain readable contrast for text and important controls.
- Avoid communicating important information through color alone.
- Provide text alternatives for meaningful images when appropriate.
- Use readable spacing, typography, and layout.
- Avoid unnecessary flashing or rapidly changing content.
9. Audio and Video Accessibility
When MyRentable publishes prerecorded video or audio that communicates important information, it will seek to provide appropriate accessibility support.
- Captions for meaningful spoken content.
- Text transcripts where appropriate.
- Audio descriptions or equivalent text when important visual information is not otherwise communicated.
- Controls that can be operated with a keyboard.
- A method to pause, stop, or control media where appropriate.
User-uploaded or third-party media may not always include captions, transcripts, or audio descriptions.

11. Forms and Data Entry
MyRentable seeks to make forms understandable and operable with assistive technologies.
- Provide visible and programmatic labels.
- Identify required fields.

- Permit correction before submitting material transactions.
- Use appropriate input types and autocomplete information where suitable.
12. Authentication and Account Access
MyRentable seeks to make registration, login, password, verification, and Account-recovery workflows accessible.
Security and identity-verification requirements may create additional accessibility challenges. MyRentable will evaluate reasonable alternative assistance when a User cannot complete a standard workflow because of a disability.
Alternative assistance does not require MyRentable to remove essential security, fraud-prevention, identity, or legal requirements.
13. Priority Marketplace Workflows
MyRentable gives particular accessibility priority to functions necessary to participate in the marketplace.
- Creating and accessing an Account.
- Searching and reviewing Listings.

14. Listing Images and User Content
Owners are responsible for providing accurate Listing content and should include useful written descriptions of the listed property.
MyRentable may provide fields, prompts, or automated tools intended to improve image descriptions, but User-generated alternative text may be incomplete or inaccurate.
A Listing description should communicate material information that cannot be understood from photographs alone, including:
- Property type and intended use.
- Material condition and known damage.
- Included accessories and components.
- Dimensions, weight, capacity, and compatibility.
- Safety requirements and operating limitations.
- Pickup, delivery, and return requirements.
15. Documents and Downloads
MyRentable seeks to provide important legal, transaction, safety, and support information as accessible web content whenever reasonably possible.
Some uploaded or third-party documents may not be fully accessible, including scanned documents, manuals, receipts, estimates, reports, or identification files.
A User who cannot access an important MyRentable-controlled document may request an accessible alternative or assistance.
16. Tables and Structured Information
MyRentable seeks to use accessible structure for fee schedules, policy tables, transaction details, and other tabular information.
- Identify table headers programmatically.
- Use tables for data rather than visual layout where reasonably possible.
- Provide meaningful labels or surrounding explanations.

- Maintain readable content without unnecessary horizontal scrolling.
- Support portrait and landscape orientation where practical.

18. Motion, Animation, and Time Limits
MyRentable seeks to avoid unnecessary motion, flashing, auto-playing media, and time limits that create accessibility barriers.
- Avoid content that flashes at unsafe frequencies.
- Provide a way to pause or stop moving content when appropriate.
- Respect reduced-motion preferences where supported.
- Provide reasonable warning before a session or process expires.
- Allow extension of time limits when security and transaction requirements permit.
19. Language and Readability
MyRentable seeks to identify page language programmatically and use understandable labels, instructions, headings, and messages.
Legal, payment, insurance, and safety information may contain specialized terms that require more detailed wording.
Definitions and summaries may be provided to improve understanding, but they do not replace the complete controlling text.
20. Third-Party Services
MyRentable relies on third parties for some marketplace functions, which may include:
- Payment and payout processing.
- Identity verification.
- Maps and location services.
- Email and notifications.
- Cloud hosting and storage.
- Insurance or protection products.
- Customer-support and security tools.
MyRentable does not control every aspect of a third party's accessibility, but it may report barriers, request remediation, seek accessible configurations, or evaluate alternative providers when reasonably appropriate.
21. Potential and Known Limitations
Accessibility limitations may include:
- User-uploaded images without useful text descriptions.
- Third-party payment or identity-verification interfaces.
- Older or scanned documents.
- Maps and location-based visual information.

- Visual contrast and zoom review.
- Form-label and error-message review.
- Responsive and mobile testing.
- Review after significant component or design changes.

23. Accessibility Feedback
MyRentable welcomes accessibility feedback from Users, advocates, testers, and members of the public.
A useful report should include:
- The page address or feature involved.
- A description of the barrier.
- The task the person was attempting to complete.
- The browser, operating system, device, and assistive technology used when available.
- Any error message or unexpected result.
- The preferred method for receiving a response.
A person is not required to disclose a medical diagnosis to report an accessibility barrier.
24. Requesting Assistance
A User who cannot access important MyRentable information or complete a marketplace workflow because of a disability may request reasonable assistance.
Depending on the request and available resources, assistance may include:
- Providing information in another accessible format.
- Explaining a Listing, fee, policy, transaction, or status.
- Helping identify an alternative accessible workflow.
- Assisting with a support, cancellation, refund, claim, or report submission.
- Coordinating with a third-party service provider.
- Providing additional time when reasonably possible.
MyRentable cannot complete legal attestations, provide false information, bypass essential security, or accept a transaction on a User's behalf without appropriate authorization.
26. How Accessibility Reports Are Prioritized
MyRentable may prioritize remediation based on:
- Whether the barrier prevents Account access.
- Whether the barrier blocks a Booking, payment, refund, payout, or return.
- Whether the barrier affects safety or emergency information.
- Whether the barrier prevents a claim, report, appeal, or legal acceptance.
- The number of Users or pages affected.
- The availability of a temporary accessible alternative.
- The technical complexity and risk of the correction.
- Whether a third-party provider controls the affected feature.
27. Remediation Process
After receiving a sufficiently detailed accessibility report, MyRentable may:
- Acknowledge the report.
- Request additional nonmedical technical information when necessary.
- Attempt to reproduce and evaluate the barrier.
- Provide a temporary method of access when reasonably available.
- Correct the issue or coordinate with the responsible provider.
- Test the correction.
- Notify the reporting person when appropriate.
Resolution time depends on severity, complexity, third-party involvement, security requirements, and available resources.
28. No Retaliation for Good-Faith Reports
MyRentable will not retaliate against a person for submitting a good-faith accessibility report, requesting reasonable assistance, or exercising an applicable disability right.
Reports may not be used to harass employees, obtain unauthorized Account access, bypass security requirements, or interfere with marketplace operations.
29. Emergencies and Immediate Safety
MyRentable is not an emergency-response service.
A person facing an immediate threat to life, safety, or property should contact emergency services before contacting MyRentable.
Accessibility assistance through MyRentable support may not be available quickly enough for an emergency.
30. Legal Rights
This Statement describes MyRentable's accessibility goals and practices. It does not reduce or replace rights provided by applicable disability, civil-rights, consumer-protection, or public-accommodation law.
Nothing in this Statement requires a person to waive a legal right or use MyRentable's feedback process before contacting an attorney, regulator, civil-rights agency, court, or other appropriate authority.
MyRentable does not provide legal or medical advice.
31. No Guarantee or Certification
This Statement is not a certification that MyRentable has no accessibility barriers or that every page, component, document, communication, and third-party service fully conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
MyRentable's commitment is to make reasonable, ongoing efforts to identify, prevent, and correct accessibility barriers and provide assistance when appropriate.
32. Changes to This Statement
MyRentable may update this Statement to reflect changes in accessibility standards, laws, platform features, testing practices, third-party services, and remediation progress.
The current version, effective date, and last-updated date will appear in the Legal Center.
Material accessibility information may also be communicated through support notices, release notes, or other reasonable methods.
33. Accessibility Contact
